The basic aim of Da Hawwa Lur is to eliminate gender based violence by addressing at from the grass root level. The organization has been a leading member of alliance against sexual harassment in Pakistan for the lobbying, implementation and awareness of anti-sexual harassment legislation. Da Hawwa Lur empowers women politically, socially and economically by providing them dignified work places free of harassment and discrimination.

Project Objectives:

• To raise awareness among the local masses on pro-women legislations.
• To help public/private institutions implement the existing legislations promoting women empowerment.
• To eliminate gender based violence from the local grass root level communities

Project Brief:

Da Hawwa Lur has not only trained 1000 individuals that includes teachers, students, nurses, police department, media persons, government institutions, lady health workers, home based/domestic workers but has also helped in the implementation of the pro-women legislations all across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A series of training and awareness sessions, IEC material distribution and campaigns have been conducted.
