The main purpose of the project is to provide free legal and psychological support to the victims of gender based violence such as sexual harassment, acid throwing and domestic violence etc..

Project Objectives:

• To provide free legal and psychological support to GBV Victims;
• To register the cases of domestic violence and provide them protection.

Project Brief:

Da Hawwa Lur provides free legal and psychological support to the victims of gender based violence in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The majority of cases being handled and resolved by Da Hawwa Lur includes that of sexual harassment, domestic violence, early and forced marriages and honor killings.

The victims are provided with a series of counselling sessions and free legal support through the legal advisors of Da Hawwa Lur. Uptill now Da Hawwa Lur has resolved more than 200 cases of gender based violence both formally and informally.
